In the rural areas of Africa, donkeys are often used in farming and as transportation; they pull ploughs and carts, deliver goods to market, and collect water from wells. In the peri-urban and urban areas, they are mainly used for construction and transport of people and goods. making them essential and key for household and commercial use.
